tI try to focus on just couponing at CVS because, believe me, it can get overwhelming. However, we needed cereal and toothpaste and Walgreens has awesome deals on those this week (12.02.2012 – 12.08.2012).  Take a guess on how much I spent on the items above.

3 Kellogg’s cereal $2.50 each
1 Colgate toothpaste $3

Coupons used:
3 $1.50 Kellogg’s manufacturer’s coupon found here –link!
3 $0.50 colgate coupon found on 12/2 ss

Total paid: $5.50 + tax
received: $2.50 in register rewards

Had I not shopped the sales and register rewards my total would have been $20.26! I may have to go back to roll my rr’s. In addition, Target has seasonal Rice Krispies on sale for $2.50 as well, so just $1 per box. I say time to stock up as I don’t really see cereal go that low too often.
